A goal without a plan is just a wish, and though Calteq makes most wishes come true, we make all goals come to life. We do this by prioritizing a bullet proof plan. We itemize every detail and establish reasonable deadlines for all project stakeholders. From selecting a designer, obtaining a construction permit to delivery of your premises, we make sure every milestone has a date.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

We can build, manage and coordinate a team of professionals for your project. If changes need to be made while planning, we have a roster of experts. Unexpected issue? Count on us to have backups and solutions. Special request? We'll make it happen. We also act as a hub of information between you (the client), the professional team and the contractor by ensuring all correct lines of communication are used. Most importantly, we monitor your budget and supplier deadlines to keep things lean.

ON-SITE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

From Construction kickoff to delivery, merchandising and opening day, we will be present every step of the way. We monitor the schedule and the budget throughout the construction process, we follow up with contractors and suppliers to make sure deadlines are respected. Expect change and surprises to happen, it's not uncommon. We'll deal with it first and provide different solutions.

PROJECT CLOSEOUT AND DOCUMENTING

Turn-key goes further than opening the door to your new space. Depending on your district, there may be certain documents and/or a final inspection certificate required - we'll handle it. Your landlord will request a hefty list of notarized documents regarding construction - we got you covered. Guarantees, updated as-built drawings, conformity letters, user manuals and occupation permits- Yep already taken care of.

Meet Franco Borsellino. 

Franco began his career at the age of 16 by cleaning heavy machinery and sewers at a mechanic garage where he was also involved in inventory. He took every opportunity to learn by working in several civil construction fields including excavation, sewer systems, concrete works, asphalt, landscaping, bridges and tunnels. Three years after being transferred from working on-site to civil estimation and project management, he decided to broaden his knowledge for construction and joined a fast-paced company focused on the high-detailed world of retail construction. He spent the following 5 years working with clients and opening their stores in every Canadian province and in all major American cities.  

 

Franco realized that there was a gap between clients and the professionals hired for their projects. Missing information, personnel with lack of construction knowledge, decision making that would end up being too costly - both on their timeline and on their budget, were problems that sparked a need for solutions. In June 2019 he took over Calteq with the confidence to successfully deliver high quality construction projects within customer budget, timeline and expectations.
